He is the President & Chief Consultant for BioEnergy Health Consultants, LLC.  He is a Board Certified Adult Nurse Practitioner, a Board Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse, and a Board Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist. He is also Certified as a Holistic-Integrative Nurse as well as a Certified Master EFT Practitioner. He is the President and Executive Director of the American Institute of Health Care Professionals, Inc., an organization that offers continuing education and certification programs to healthcare professionals. He has held positions as a Nurse Practitioner in Emergency Care, Surgical Services, as well as Primary Care and infectious Diseases. He has held positions as well as a Nurse Executive, Associate Administrator of Patient Care Services, Administrator in Acute Care, and Chief Executive. He is the author/editor of five textbooks in health care and has published over 70 articles in peer-reviewed journals. He has been on the editorial boards of three journals in health care and is the past editor-in-chief of a journal in health care law and ethics. He has held positions as well as a healthcare consultant has consulted in hospitals nationally and has spoken and lectured extensively on the national stage. He also holds the following Board Certifications: He is Board Certified as a Functional Medicine Practitioner (BCFMP), Board Certified as a Functional Medicine Nurse Specialist (BCFMNS) and Board Certified as a Functional Nurse Health Coach (BCFNHC). Board Certifications are by the American Association of Natural Wellness Practitioners and the American Association of Natural Wellness Coaches.

He has a very strong passion and love for holistic-integrative health care, functional medicine and health care, energy medicine and health care, cellular health and optimization, anti-aging medicine, and cutting-edge science/ research leading to better and evidence-based interventions and modalities to optimize one’s overall health and longevity. He continues to study these specialty areas on a consistent basis and has a passion for sharing his knowledge with clients in his coaching practice.

A lifelong learner and educator, Dominick also currently develops and teaches continuing education courses, online, for healthcare professionals in the following areas: stress management, meditation, the emotional freedom technique, hypnotherapy, nutrition counseling, grief counseling, spiritual counseling, holistic-integrative nursing, substance abuse, legal and ethical issues in health care, and more.

Dominick holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and a Master’s Degree in Business Admin. with a major in Health Care Administration, a Master of Science Degree in Health Sciences, a Doctorate Degree in Nursing Administration, and a Ph.D. Degree in Management with a focus in Organizational Behavior.

His current interests and research, teaching, coaching and consulting including the following specialties: Bioenergetics and NES Body Energy Scanning, the Emotional Freedom Technique, Thoughtfield Therapy, Holistic-Integrative Nursing and Health Care Coaching, Mitochondrial Dysfunction, Nutrition for Optimal Energy & Health, Grounding, Water Hydration for Optimal Energy & Health, Anti-Aging and Longevity, and Solutions for Optimizing Cellular Health & Energy, and more.

Note: In his role as a BioEnergetics Coach and Consultant, and a Consultant and Educator in Functional and Integrative Health; in the areas of specialization and services as noted directly above, Dr. Flarey is not practicing these coaching/consulting services as an Adult Nurse Practitioner and thus is not providing any types of medical diagnosis and/or any types of prescription treatments of medications. Recommendations for laboratory testing and ordering are completed in collaboration with a Board Certified & Licensed Laboratory Physician only.
